Graduated in Physics by Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), Master in Physics by Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) and PhD in Physics by UNICAMP (2010). Runs Laboratório de Ecologia e Evolução de Interação (LEEI), which merged with Biological Interactions in 2019. She holds the position of assistant professor at the Physics Department at Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), Brazil. Currently works with mathematical models applied to ecology and evolution. Interested in species interactions, adaptations, and evolution.
(senior professor)
Oceanologist (FURG, 1981), Master (ISU,1986) and PhD (ISU, 1988) in Zoology. Full professor of Departamento de Zoologia of UFPR, in which he works since 1992, was a researcher at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisa da Amazônia (1982-1989) and professor at the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (1989-1992). He has developed/develops research in evolutionary parasitology, molecular ecology, systematics of Platyhelminthes Monogenoidea, and biogeography and phylogeography of aquatic organisms. Currently interested in ecological and evolutionary processes associated to the emergence and maintenance of biological interactions.
