Part III: Genome Assembly

On Tuesday afternoon Andreas Wallberg will give a lecture on genome assembly (13:00).

We will then start the genome assembly exercise aimed at assembling the genome of the Atlantic herring (~15:15). We recommend you work in pairs but you are free to work individually if you prefer.

We will start the assembly task on Uppmax and leave the genome assembly running overnight.
