Draft Submission

Before you submit your draft, please go over the requirements and the grade-level goals pertaining to the paper.

Requirements

• consistent application of Chicago, MLA, or APA style
• bibliography
• no plagiarism (check your Turnitin originality report)

Goals

To earn a C in the course, the student must:

• clearly state your position
• identify important ethical issues in the case
• accurately restate a relevant argument from the course texts (or other philosophy literature)

To earn a B in the course, the student must meet the above goals and

• construct a valid argument for your position
• critically engage with argument from the course texts

To earn an A in the course, the student must meet the above goals and

• integrate discussion of argument(s) from course texts in your argument for your position
• give a convincing argument for your position

Submission

To submit your draft, go to the USAOnline/Sakai course site: https://ecampus.southalabama.edu/

Under Assignments, click "Position Paper Draft."

This will automatically generate your Turnitin orginality report. Check the report for any citation errors and revise and resubmit if you have improperly cited or failed to cite sources. Remember that plagiarism is grounds for automatic failure of the course.
