Argument Map Submission

The argument map is stage 1 of your Position Paper assignment.

In the first stage, you must meet with me and present your initial assessment of the ethical issues raised by the case, an outline or Mindmup map of arguments of the relevant arguments from the course texts. The argument map of argument(s) from the course text is due on Thursday, October 11 online.

Instructions for creating and submitting argument map

1. Download and install the Mindmup 2.0 app for google drive.
2. To create a new map, go into your google drive, click "new" and scroll down to the bottom of the list to select Mindmup.
3. Once in mindmup for drive, click "View > Start Argument Visualization." For tips and shortcuts, see the Argument Maps resource page.
4. Select "File> Save as" under the dropdown menu.
5. Name your copy of the map as follows: "last name-map-author" where the author is the author of the article whose argument you're summarzing (Ex. a map for case 6 using Hursthouse: Jeffrey-map-Hursthouse).
6. Work on the map.
7. When you are finished, click "file>>download as>>Mindmup" and upload file to drive. Use the uploaded .mup file when you submit the map.
8. Submit your map here.

You must submit the map by midnight of October 11 unless you use a token to delay one class period (Tuesday, October 16).
