Health and policy are integral pillars of the bioeconomy. A thriving bioeconomy not only depends on scientific innovation and technological advancement but also on strong health systems and sound policy frameworks that ensure equitable access, sustainability, and ethical governance. Health considerations shape how biotechnologies are applied to improve quality of life, while policies provide the structure for regulation, investment, and long-term impact. Together, they determine how innovations translate into real-world benefits for society.
In recognition of this, we are partnering with IIPH Shillong this year to host a special Conclave on Health Technology Assessment (HTA). The Conclave will bring together experts, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss how HTA can guide evidence-based decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and strengthen the integration of health priorities within the broader bioeconomic agenda.
Join the movement—experience India’s bioeconomic transformation in the scenic IIT Guwahati, nestled by the mighty Brahmaputra and the historic lands of Kamrupa and Pragjyotishpur.
