2021-22

• A Capacity building program was organized by the Department of Biochemistry, St.Joseph’s Degree College, Kurnool for the Biology teachers of St.Joseph’s Educational institutions on 18th June 2022.

• The aim of the program is to equip biology teachers with content and pedagogical competence in advanced areas of biology like Biotechnology and Molecular genetics.

Alumni Talk on Career opportunities in Life Sciences 

·   The Department of Biochemistry organised an interactive session for Biochemistry students on 4th February 2022.

·   Dr. Surendra Saddala shared his life journey and success story and motivated students towards higher education and research.

Blood Screening Camp

• The Department of Biochemistry organised a blood grouping camp for hostel girls at our college on January 5, 2023. The camp was conducted under the guidance of C.S. Sreenivasa Rao, Head, Department of Biochemistry, and H.N. Prasanna, Head, Department of Microbiology, St. Joseph’s Degree College, Kurnool. All the 3rd-year biochemistry students were involved in the blood grouping activity.
