Applications of 3D Technology to Unidentified and Missing Persons Cases - July 25 -29, 2022


BioantTalks has partnered with Terri Simmons-Ehrhardt to organize the conference, Applications of 3D Technology to Unidentified and Missing Persons Cases. The conference will take place on July 25th to 29th, 2022 on the YouTube Channel BioantTalks.

This conference will bring together experts in 3D technology and forensic identification to discuss the applicability of 3D technology to unidentified and missing persons cases. Topics may include 3D scanning of unidentified remains, developing new biological profile/skeletal identification techniques using 3D reference data, craniofacial identification (facial approximation and craniofacial superimposition), generating and displaying “new” images for missing persons cases, generating and displaying 3D representations of unidentified persons to display clothing, tattoos, jewelry, and additional ways to enhance unidentified and missing person case profiles. Presentations may include case studies, research papers, method reviews, software/application demonstrations, best practices, suggested protocols or in-use protocols.
