My name is Vipul Singh. I am a young, aspirational middle-class boy with big dreams and shallow pockets. I do not come from a rich background. I do not come from a traditional tech degree. I work a night-shift job in a non-tech corporate role, and after my shift ends, I continue working on the dream that keeps me awake.
I always wanted to build something for India. Not just another app, but something that could help real people: small shopkeepers, traders, wholesalers, service providers, and everyday vendors who work hard but still struggle with paperwork, quotations, invoices, and customer records.
I have seen how small vendors run their businesses with notebooks, WhatsApp messages, memory, trust, and long working hours. They may not have an accounts team. They may not understand complicated software. But they still deserve professional tools.
That thought became BillBanao.
I did not have deep pockets. I built this app from my savings, one step at a time. There were failed attempts. There was money lost. There were moments when I questioned whether someone like me, from a non-tech background and a modest salary, could really build a product that could stand in front of the world.
But every failure taught me something. Every mistake made the product clearer. Every difficult night reminded me why I started.
BillBanao was not built by a large team. It was not built inside a fancy office. It was built through late nights, savings, pressure, learning, and belief. I solely created it because I could not stop believing that small Indian vendors deserve better digital tools.
My mission is to empower India’s small vendors with simple, affordable, and language-friendly business tools that help them create quotations, invoices, catalogues, and records without confusion.
I want a small business owner to feel confident when sending a quotation. I want them to look professional in front of customers. I want technology to support their hard work instead of making their life more complicated.
My vision is to make BillBanao a trusted daily business companion for small vendors across India. A tool that helps them sell better, bill faster, track smarter, and grow with dignity.
India’s small vendors are already ambitious. They do not need motivation from us. They need tools that respect their reality.
India’s small businesses are the backbone of the country’s economy. Many of them have already adopted smartphones, WhatsApp, and digital payments. But their daily business operations are still fragmented.
BillBanao brings quotations, invoices, product catalogues, customer details, and business tracking into one simple mobile experience.
For me, this is not just software. This is my attempt to give small vendors the same confidence that bigger businesses already have.
BillBanao carries my struggle, my savings, my failures, and my belief in India’s small business owners. I built it because I know what it feels like to have big dreams with limited resources.
And if this product can help even one small vendor save time, win trust, and grow their business, then every late night was worth it.
