BillBanao is a mobile application made to help small business owners and vendors create quotations, GST invoices, manage leads, maintain a product catalogue, and save or share business documents. We respect your privacy and collect only the information needed to provide these app features.

1. Information We Collect

BillBanao may collect and store the following information when you enter it in the app:

• Account information: email address used for login and account access.

• Business profile information: business name, owner name, phone number, address, GST/TIN number, and business profile photo if added.

• Customer or lead information: customer name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, GST number, and lead status.

• Product catalogue information: product names, prices, units, HSN codes, and GST/tax rates.

• Quotation and invoice information: document numbers, items, quantities, rates, totals, tax details, notes, status, and dates.

• Imported file information: product details parsed from Excel or CSV files selected by the user.

• Basic app usage and sync information: actions required to operate the app, such as login, saving records, syncing data, document status updates, and timestamps.

2. Why We Collect This Information

We collect this information in good faith to make the app useful for each user and to customize the app experience according to the user's own business requirements. We are not collecting sensitive information for advertising, profiling, or selling user data. The information is collected mainly to:

• Create quotations and GST invoices from user-entered business, customer, and product data.

• Save business data so users can continue their work later.

• Sync and back up user data through our secure backend service so users can access their data after reinstalling or logging in again.

• Help users manage leads, catalogue items, quotation history, invoice history, and document status.

• Improve the app experience and make the app more suitable for Indian small businesses and vendors.

3. How We Store and Protect Data

User data may be stored locally on the user's device and may also be synced to our backend database service, Supabase, for account access, backup, and syncing. We use reasonable technical measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep user data protected and use trusted service providers for authentication and storage.
