Patches are $3/ea. Pickup available at Parker event 3/28 11am-1pm. Shipping additional $1/order.
Invoices will be sent via Paypal. Paypal account is not required for payment.
Patches were designed and made with sublimation by the Girl Scouts themselves so patches may vary slightly.

Earning Your Patch
*Although you can do this in another language that you already know, we highly encourage you to do this in a language that is new and interesting to you*
Requirements: complete 5 of the following and be able to write/say a sentence (or a couple) about your interests and likes in the language
Watch a tv show in another language
Watch a movie in another language
Read a children’s book
Listen to music and make a playlist of songs from the chosen language
Listen to a podcast about the language/culture or in the language
Playing games (Scrabble, charades, video games with language settings)
Language exchange
Changing your phone's language
Search for and cook meals using authentic recipes written in the target language.
Place Post-it notes on household items with their names in the new language to build environmental vocabulary.
Learn how to pronounce the alphabet in the language
Learn some basic words
Learn how to pronounce numbers up to 10 in the language
Learn how to introduce yourself
Learn how to pronounce colors in the language
Follow a theme (e.g., "blue items" or "things made of wood") and find and name as many objects as possible in your house or city using only the target language.
Visit a museum that is related to your language
Collaborative Story Circles (Freeze and Pass): Start a written story with 2–3 sentences, then pass the paper to a partner who adds more. Continue for several rounds until the final person "wraps up" the story.
Nature Scavenger Hunts: Go for a walk and describe everything you see, hear, and feel aloud. For an added challenge, create a list of items to find described only in your target language.
(For ASL) Watch the ASL translation of a book while reading the physical copy (in English) to make the connections between the language
