Please watch the video below. The video was produced in 2014 and provides an early perspective on the potential of learning analytics tools in the K-12 and higher education sectors.

Around the 1:00 minute mark in the video the presenter shares a list of a dozen of learning analytic start-ups that were collecting "millions of data-points on individual students" at the time. Some of those start-ups no longer exist. A few have seen phenomenal success. Why is that? We could use your help.
