Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of VerseNest and its website, provided by the VerseNest developer ("we," "us," or "our"). Contact: soleilsunshine77@gmail.com.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using VerseNest, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

VerseNest is intended for users aged 13 and older, subject to applicable local age requirements. If you cannot legally enter into this agreement, obtain a parent or guardian's authorization where permitted.

2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

VerseNest offers free features, monthly and annual Premium subscriptions, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Available features, prices, billing periods, and any trial eligibility are displayed before purchase.

Payment and renewal. Apple processes payments through your Apple Account. Paid purchases are charged at confirmation, except where a free trial or offer specifies a later charge. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in time; Apple may charge the disclosed renewal price within the 24 hours before the next subscription period begins. An eligible trial converts to the stated paid plan unless canceled before its deadline. Apple advises canceling free or discounted trials at least 24 hours before they end. Optional trial reminders are not guaranteed to arrive.

Cancellation. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select VerseNest, and follow Apple's instructions. Deleting the app or emailing us does not cancel billing. Access after cancellation follows Apple's entitlement status; trial access may end immediately.

Lifetime and restoration. Lifetime has no recurring charge and covers the purchased Premium features for the supported life of the app, subject to purchase commitments and mandatory consumer rights. It does not automatically cancel an existing subscription. Restore Purchases restores eligible access, not deleted favorites, history, or settings.

Refunds and changes. Request App Store refunds through Apple. Eligibility follows Apple's rules and applicable consumer law. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, the associated Premium access may end, based on the valid purchase and entitlement status reported by Apple. Subscription price changes follow Apple's notice and consent requirements. Contact us about unresolved service issues.

3. Intellectual Property and Content Disclaimer

Public Domain Texts: Except for the Spanish translation identified below, the Bible texts and verses provided in VerseNest are sourced from public-domain translations. VerseNest claims no copyright ownership or exclusive rights over these texts.

4. User Conduct

Use VerseNest lawfully. Do not compromise its security, fraudulently bypass purchase checks, misrepresent publisher affiliation, or infringe others' rights. Restrictions on protected app materials do not limit lawful reuse of Scripture under its applicable permissions.

5. Third-Party Services

VerseNest uses Apple for purchases and Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting. These services and any external websites have their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details. We remain responsible for our own legal obligations.

App Store downloads are subject to Apple's Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or the Scripture reuse permissions in Section 3.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

VerseNest supports personal Christian reflection. It does not provide medical care, professional counseling, emergency monitoring, or guaranteed spiritual or health outcomes. Read passages in context and seek qualified help when needed.

The service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or compatibility with every future device. These limitations do not override express purchase commitments or warranties and remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unforeseeable indirect or consequential losses or business losses from this personal devotional service. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and their revision date. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable and obtain consent where required. If paid features or the app are discontinued, we will honor applicable purchase commitments and consumer remedies. Changes do not remove rights already accrued.
