Theory:
- 12 children tribes were born 280 years before wandering in desert for 40 years. (slaves during those 280 years so they missed 40 sabbatical years) Free.....did nothing for 40 years.
- Then didn't celebrate sabbatical years for 490 years in Israel, so they were moved from their land to Babylon for 49 years.....I don't think it was that bad or necessarily slaves???? Just couldn't work their own land??
- Feasts and sabbatical years and obeying YHWH were all tied together.
Adam taught feasts / sabbatical, Passed down to Noah...only Noah celebrated because those dates were recorded in Bible. Noah Passed to Abram, Abram left Babylon during Passover. Lost feasts and sabbaticals while slaves. YHWH retaught during Exodus. Lost again, Josiah and Nehemiah found book of Law and restarted. Maccabees found book of law and restarted. Now Jews back in Israel just this last 70 years so they are restarting feasts and sabbaticals. We have internet to discover feasts are for us too.
