Introduction to carving in Bhutan: Par-zo
Traditional Bhutanese Carvings are seen on architecture, and even on the masks of the performers in a traditional Bhutan festival. Par-zo is wood carving that produces the printing blocks for religious text, furniture, altars, and slate images decorated on shrines. It is a difficult job to achieve and also requires a great deal of practicing before finishing a masterpiece.
