The Booster Executive Board is comprised of a committed team of parent volunteers, elected at the beginning of each cheer season by the members of the Booster Club to hold executive board positions.

Joining the cheer booster club offers several benefits, including:
Supporting The Team: It provides an opportunity to actively support and promote the cheerleading team, helping to boost morale and school spirit.

Fundraising Opportunities: Booster clubs often organize fundraisers that help cover costs for squad accessorites, gifts, celebrations, and equipment, ensuring the team has what it needs to succeed.
Volunteering and Involvement: It’s a chance to be involved in planning events and contributing to the overall success of the cheer program.
Building Skills: Members can develop organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills through participation in club activities.
Enhancing the Student Experience: Your support can enhance the overall cheerleading experience for students, encouraging their growth and confidence.
To become a member of the Cheer Booster Club, individuals must pay the required membership dues.
All paying Booster Members are required to complete the Code of Ethics Acknowledgement Form.
Here are the board roles and guildines for the 2026-27 school year
Executive Board Members:
President - Supervise and conduct the BHS Cheer Booster Club’s business; preside at all meetings; delegate and oversee all committees and calendar events for the BHS Cheer Booster Club; maintain communication with BHS coaches and all Executive Board members. Must have been a member of the BHS Cheer Booster Club. Executive Board for one year.
Vice President - Assist the President in all business for BHS Cheer Booster Club and follow up with other officers regarding upcoming deadlines, in charge of sub-committees. Must have been a member of the BHS Cheer Booster Club Executive Board for one year.
Treasurer - Keep all financial records, provide a treasurer’s report at each regularly scheduled meeting, and arrange for all required audits and tax duties. The treasurer will report those who have paid their dues to the secretary. Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar systems preferred. It will be preferred that the treasurer has one year experience, but in the event there is not a nominee with prior experience the board will review experience and credentials on a case by case basis and vote. Must have been a member of the BHS Cheer Booster Club Executive Board for one year.
Secretary - Maintain all official minutes and correspondence for the BHS Cheer Booster Club. The minutes will be housed in Booster Google Drive. The secretary will maintain a list of those who have paid dues to ensure that only paid members vote at meetings.
Varsity, Sub-Varsity, Senior Rep (3 Positions) - Maintain communication between the BHS Cheer Booster Club and all parents, cheerleaders, and BHS cheer coach and assistant coach(es) of their respective squads. Must be able to contact parents via email, text, and phone as needed. Coordinates all game day activities: Game Day girl gifts, baskets for opponent squads, game day meal ordering and delivery etc.
Committees:
Spirit Wear Chair - In charge of ordering all merchandise deemed Spirit Wear. They will also facilitate the purchase of items from appropriate vendors, and ensure all orders are filled in a timely manner and answer any customer questions. Assist in promoting sales.
Fundraising Chair - Coordinate fundraisers, confirm dates with sponsors, oversee sign ups, collects all monies, count and turn in monies to treasurer for deposit, and ensure equal participation among all squads. Assist in planning & executing spirit night events at restaurants & various stores.
Banquet Chair - Lead the planning of Banquet including location/catering selection, decorations, set up and tear down. Delegate tasks to committee as needed, staying on budget and timeline
Holiday Celebrations Chair - Lead the planning of Holiday Parties including location/catering, decorations, games, set up and tear down. Delegate tasks to committee as needed, staying on budget and timeline
Community Outreach Chair - Lead the planning of Community events (Parades, Trunk or Treats Etc) including logistics, decorations, set up and tear down. Delegate tasks to committee as needed, staying on budget and timeline.
Mini Camp Chair - Lead the planning of Mini Camp, including communication to campers, decorations, goody bag items, and camp events. Delegate tasks to committee as needed, staying on budget and timeline.
Scholarship Chair - Develops and updates the scholarship application and questionnaire each year, then advertises and distributes it to eligible senior squad members. Reviews, scores, and judges all applications and essays using a standardized rubric and a blind process to ensure fairness and eliminate bias. Recommends scholarship recipients and awards based solely on final scores.
