With over 30 years of clinical experience, I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, with a particular focus on transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive clients. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in respect, authenticity, and emotional safety. I recognize that trauma can take many forms and may show up in ways that are not always obvious. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening internally, while offering tools to support healing, resilience, and self-trust.
I integrate evidence-based practices with deep listening, humor, and a direct but compassionate style. Whether you're dealing with identity-related challenges, relationship issues, burnout, or simply feeling stuck, I tailor our work to your goals and lived experience. My clients often describe our sessions as insightful, validating, and empowering. My goal is to help you feel more aligned with yourself and more in control of your life.

1. “Do I need to be in crisis to go to therapy?”
Not at all. Therapy isn’t just for breakdowns—it’s for breakthroughs. You can come to therapy simply because something feels off, or because you want to grow. Just like you don’t wait until your car breaks down to get it serviced, you don’t have to wait for a crisis to care for your mind.
2. “What if I don’t know what to say in therapy?”
That’s completely okay. It’s your therapist’s job to help you feel safe enough to start somewhere. Some sessions are full of big insights, others are about holding space for quiet. You don’t have to have the ‘right words’—just show up as you are.
3. “How do I know if therapy is working?”
Therapy isn’t about feeling better right away—it’s about learning to feel more like yourself. You might notice you’re reacting differently, setting boundaries, or thinking more clearly. It’s progress when you start noticing your own growth.
4. “Is online therapy really effective?”
Yes—research shows online therapy can be just as effective as in-person. You still get real connection, support, and insight—just from the comfort of your own space. And sometimes, being in a familiar environment makes it easier to open up.
5. “Can I talk about things I’ve never said out loud before?”
Absolutely. That’s what therapy is for. You don’t have to censor yourself, shrink yourself, or protect anyone’s feelings but your own. You deserve a space where you’re fully heard—especially about the things you’ve held inside for too long.
