Dear Users,

Resources can be virtual or actual, it is the content is that matters. A virtual resource is just one means of accessing information. No matter how vast a data is available on internet it can never replace a book or the print matter. There's a very famous Neil Gaiman quote among librarians and lovers of libraries: "Google will bring you back, you know, a hundred thousand answers. A librarian will bring you back the right one."03-Nov-2016 . You will always need that mentor who will be glad to take you to the right answers. All information is dead until you open yourselves to it to receive, understand, use and create nascent thoughts and thereby more credible information.

IF LIBRARIANS WERE HONEST

If librarians were honest,

they wouldn’t smile, or act

welcoming. They would say,

You need to be careful. Here

be monsters. They would say,

These rooms house heathens

and heretics, murderers and

maniacs, the deluded, desperate,

and dissolute. They would say,

These books contain knowledge

of death, desire, and decay,

betrayal, blood, and more blood;

each is a Pandora’s box, so why

would you want to open one.

They would post danger

signs warning that contact

might result in mood swings,

severe changes in vision,

and mind-altering effects.

If librarians were honest,

they would say, No one

spends time here without being

changed. Maybe you should

go home. While you still can.
