With their leadership, expertise, and passion for diplomacy, our Executive Board is ready to inspire engaging discussions, encourage innovative solutions, and make BGS NPS MUN 2026 an enriching experience for every delegate.
The two-day Model United Nations held on 19–20 June 2026 at BGS National Public Schools, continued the school’s tradition of nurturing student leadership and global citizenship. Now in its fourth year, the conference offers participants opportunities to develop debating skills, diplomacy, and critical thinking—preparing them to be tomorrow’s global leaders.
The highly anticipated conference opened with a glittering ceremony featuring a moving rendition on world peace and an energetic medley of Michael Jackson songs, including “We Are the World” and “Beat It.” The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Gauri Prabha, Principal of Gurukul High School.
This year’s BGS MUN hosted nine diverse committees — UNHRC, ECOSOC, AIPPM, F1, HCC, IPC, UNEP, UNSC and UNODC — where delegates tackled an array of issues from geopolitics to the environment. Two days of general speeches, points of information, structured debates, and intensive deliberations enabled committees to draft resolutions offering innovative, practical solutions to global challenges.
The event concluded on a celebratory note with a lively DJ session where delegates relaxed and forged new friendships. During the closing ceremony, outstanding contributions were recognized and winners felicitated. The Best Delegation award went to Sri Kumaran’s Public School.
In all, the fourth annual BGS MUN was a successful platform for skill-building, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, reinforcing the school’s commitment to developing confident, globally.
