BGS National Public School, Hulimavu participated in the Alliance Nova Debate Competition with great enthusiasm and excellence. The students Ruhita Taank and Aditya Sahu of grade XI showcased outstanding debating skills and secured First Place, earning a cash award of ₹10,000. Demonstrating strong reasoning and effective communication, Charvi Almore and Prakhar Kumar Singh performed commendably and achieved Second Place, winning a cash award of ₹5,000.

Visionaries Shayon Sen and Suhani Mandowra from BGSNPS Hulimavu shone through with brilliance as they secured the Runner-up position in the Visionary Vault event at EUPHORIA 2025–26, hosted by PSBB Learning Leadership Academy. Your ideas and innovation truly impressed!
Nagappan Arun of Class 12 D (2024-25) has been awarded the Best Paper award for his outstanding research paper titled "Improving Black Money Estimation Techniques in India by analysing the shortcomings of the Kaldor Report, Wanchoo Committee report and Rangnekar's Estimate" presented at the International Conference on Navigating Inequality Developement and Sustainability in the Global South(ICNIDS, September 13th and 14th, 2024). This paper was recognized for its innovation, scholarly contribution, and impact on the field.
Nagappan Arun attended the Amity Summer Camp in 2024 as part of an Economics internship programme. During the camp, he actively participated in academic sessions and hands-on learning activities related to economic concepts and their real-world applications. He demonstrated keen interest, analytical thinking, and a positive learning attitude, along with good interpersonal and collaborative skills, making the internship a valuable and enriching experience.
ArgueFest 2026, (TAPMI)
On 10–11 January, Grade 11th students Ruhita Taank, Prakhar Kumar Singh, and Aditya Sahu excelled at ArgueFest 2026 which was organised by T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Bangalore, a highly competitive multi-format debating festival featuring school, college, and international participants. The event tested debaters across diverse formats, including team debates, group discussions, turncoat rounds, and one-on-one finals, demanding sharp thinking, adaptability, and persuasive clarity.
Ruhita Taank secured First Place in the main debate, winning a ₹20,000 prize. In the Model United Nations (MUN) segment, Prakhar Kumar Singh earned First Place (Best Delegate, ₹15,000), while Aditya Sahu achieved Second Place (Commendable Delegate, ₹10,000) in the UN Human Rights Council committee.
Their outstanding performance reflects exceptional skill, confidence, and leadership potential in debate and diplomacy.
