INDUSTRIAL VISITS
Nandini Milk Factory
An industrial visit was organized for the students of Classes XI and XII (Commerce and Humanities) to the Nandini Milk Factory with the aim of providing practical exposure to large-scale dairy processing and cooperative enterprises. The visit helped students understand the functioning of a milk cooperative and its role in supporting farmers and ensuring food security.
During the visit, students observed various stages of milk processing, including collection, quality testing, pasteurization, packaging, and cold storage. Factory officials explained the importance of hygiene standards, quality control measures, and modern technology used in dairy production. Students also learned about supply chain management, pricing policies, and distribution networks followed by Nandini.
The visit provided valuable insights into cooperative management, employment generation, rural development, and the contribution of the dairy sector to the Indian economy. It reinforced theoretical concepts from Economics, Business Studies, Sociology, and Political Science through real-life observation.

Channapatna Toy Factory
An industrial visit was organized for the students of Classes XI and XII (Commerce and Humanities) to the Channapatna Toy Factory with the objective of providing practical exposure to traditional industries and indigenous manufacturing practices. The visit enabled students to observe the complete process of toy making, including wood selection, turning, shaping, colouring, and polishing, using eco-friendly and non-toxic materials.
The factory representatives explained how the Channapatna toy industry supports local artisans, promotes sustainable livelihoods, and contributes to the rural economy. Students gained insights into entrepreneurship, small-scale industries, marketing of handicrafts, and the role of traditional crafts in cultural preservation. The visit helped bridge the gap between theoretical concepts studied in Economics, Business Studies, Sociology, and History and their real-world applications.
Overall, the industrial visit was an enriching and educational experience that enhanced students’ understanding of sustainable production, skill-based employment, and India’s rich craft heritage.
PRO SHARES, Stock Broking House
FMM Students of class 11 and 12 visited a stock broking house, PRO SHARES on 20th August 2025 to gain practical exposure to the working of financial markets. The officials explained the process of share trading, demat accounts, and settlement of transactions. A live demonstration of order placement and market movement helped us understand how buying and selling of securities take place. The visit was very informative and gave us useful insights into the role of stock brokers and the importance of investor awareness.
