Role Summary:
The President serves as the chief leader of the chapter, responsible for setting vision, coordinating activities, and representing the chapter to both the university and BGBCN National.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and direction for the chapter.
Preside over all meetings of the Executive Board and general membership.
Act as the primary liaison between the chapter, the university, and BGBCN National HQ.
Ensure the chapter fulfills its annual commitments (dues, fundraising, events, reporting).
Support and mentor other officers in their roles.
Represent the chapter at regional and national meetings/events.

Role Summary:
The VP of Programs leads the design and execution of chapter activities, including nonprofit partnerships, fundraising events, and campus engagement.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and oversee all chapter events and service projects.
Coordinate the chapter’s partnership with local nonprofits.
Ensure each year’s programming includes at least one local nonprofit project and one campus event.
Collaborate with the Treasurer to budget for events.
Collect feedback from members to improve events and projects.

Role Summary:
The VP of Membership leads recruitment, retention, and member engagement to grow and sustain the chapter.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a membership recruitment plan each semester.
Organize interest meetings, tabling, and outreach efforts.
Welcome and onboard new members with orientation activities.
Track active membership and maintain roster records.
Foster a sense of community through socials, mentorship, and recognition.
Skills/Qualities:
Outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, organization, enthusiasm for growing the network.
Role Summary:
The Treasurer manages chapter finances, ensuring compliance with both university and BGBCN National financial policies.
Responsibilities:
Collect and submit $50 annual dues to BGBCN National.
Track fundraising activities and ensure allocation of funds (70% local / 30% national).
Maintain accurate financial records and report regularly to the Executive Board.
Prepare the financial portion of the Annual Chapter Report.
Work with the VP of Programs to budget for events and projects.
Comply with university student organization financial guidelines.

Role Summary:
The Communications Director manages all internal and external communications, ensuring consistent branding and visibility for the chapter.
Responsibilities:
Maintain chapter social media accounts and promote events/initiatives.
Ensure use of BGBCN-approved logos, branding, and messaging.
Create flyers, graphics, and digital content for chapter activities.
Manage internal communication (emails, group chats, newsletters).
Share chapter highlights and stories with BGBCN National for recognition.
Skills/Qualities:
Creativity, digital marketing, design skills (Canva/graphics), strong writing, social media savvy.
