Goals for Chapters
Local Impact: Work with a small nonprofit in the community and help them integrate AI stewardship practices.
Leadership Development: Train student leaders in both fundraising and AI.
National Support: Raise awareness and funds for Bots Give Back’s AI Access Grants.
Networking: Connect students with nonprofit leaders, tech partners, and funders through the national network.
The Bots Give Back Collegiate Network (BGBCN) is a coast-to-coast movement, powered by students but coordinated through a clear structure that keeps chapters connected and supported. To make sure every campus feels like part of the bigger picture, the network is organized into 8 regions across the United States.
Each region has its own Regional Representative — a student leader selected to serve as the voice of their area. Regional Reps provide mentorship to chapter presidents, share resources, and connect campuses through virtual meet-ups and regional events. They also bring the ideas and concerns of local chapters back to the National Headquarters, ensuring the network is truly student-driven.
This structure creates the best of both worlds:
Local power — Chapters serve nonprofits in their own communities.
Regional connection — Campuses learn from each other and collaborate on projects.
National strength — All eight regions come together to fuel the Bots Give Back Fund and expand AI Access Grants nationwide.
From the Northeast to the Pacific, BGBCN’s eight regions form the backbone of a network that is local in action but national in impact. Whether you’re leading a chapter in a small college town or a large university city, you’re never working alone — you’re part of a regional family and a nationwide movement.
