Welcome to the homepage for the research project "Beyond the Clause: Encoding and Inference in Clause-Combining" (2018-2022; funded by the Research Council of the University of Leuven, C14/18/034).

We are a research group based at the University of Leuven, investigating the phenomenon of clause-combining from a range of linguistic perspectives, including interactional, typological, corpus-based and historical work (here and here).
