COMING EVENTS: Conversation Circles - English Learning Groups

Location: Bethany Gospel Chapel, 155 Gage Avenue North
Dates: Thursday evenings from November 6 to December 11
Times: 7 to 9 pm
This is a faith-based program where we will learn together, share stories, explore the Bible, and build community. All levels of English learners are welcome—from beginners to advanced speakers.
Come, make new friends, practise your English, and be encouraged!

Anyone who wants to practise English is welcome! Beginners, intermediate, and advanced speakers can all join. It doesn't matter where you come from or if you are a man or a woman. Everyone is welcome!
You need to be sixteen years old or older to participate. This makes it easier to help adults learn English well.
No. You can join even if you know only a few words. Everyone helps each other learn, and we learn together.
We read a short story, talk about it, read and discuss a Bible story, practise new words, and do short dialogues in pairs or small groups.
No, but you may bring a notebook or pen if you want to take notes. We will give you a 20-page participant's guide to help you follow along and learn at home.
Each meeting is 2 hours long.
No. You can come to as many or as few sessions as you like. Each session stands alone. But, we do recommend that you come to as many evenings as possible. This helps the group be more friendly.
No. Conversation Circles are free for everyone. This includes the participant's guide.
No. Not at all. We welcome friends of any religion or no religion.
No. We welcome friends and neighbours who do not attend our church.
