"High performing organizations have cultures of creativity and risk. They encourage workers to innovate and play." Andy Hargreaves
Leading a school to success must start with the understanding that schools are extremely complex organizations. Multiple diverse networks of individuals operate as members of the school's community, influencing the ability of the school to meet its goals of promoting student success. Each of these networks are uniquely and fluently connected to the other through an elaborate web. To put it simply: when one element of a school pulls in a direction it influences all of the other parts of a school in different ways. There is not a magic model for a successful school; nor, will a stagnant model remain successful. 0
