Scikit-learn Open Source Sprint
January 25, 2020
We are excited to announce our first Berlin scikit-learn open source sprint! The scikit-learn sprint is a one-day hands-on "hackathon" where we work on issues in the scikit-learn GitHub repo and learn to contribute to open source.
Our event is by application only. We have run out of tickets, and it's highly unlikely that more will become available.
OUR GOAL: to increase the participation of women and gender minorities in scikit-learn and python (see Gender Imbalance)
WHEN: Saturday, January 25, 2020
TIME: 9 am to 6 pm
WHERE: Berlin, Germany (venue details)
1. Must know Python
2. Must have some knowledge and experience using scikit-learn, the Python machine learning library
3. Must have some familiarity with Git
