The slideshow presentation was lead by myself, and my three project colleagues in an effort to gain support and capital for assistive technologies in our classrooms. We spoke to administration and developed a plan for schools to replicate and gain technologies in their classrooms as well. Myself, Ms. Venne, Ms. Dynko and Ms. Tanner created this video as a part of our professional proposal. This illuminates the problems students with dysgraphia and dyslexia face and the benefits of assistive technologies that allow them to overcome these challenges.
For this project I worked alone to create my own courses. I developed my own course on the Moodle learning management system (LMS). This project focused on the separate roles within museum careers. I curated areas of professional development for docents, curators, and other performance roles within museums. Along with the roles of each of these professionals, I developed skills, and cultural areas to assess for each student. The students had to participate in discussion forums, complete multiple assignments, quizzes and write essays. They had to build networking skills as well. The course was entirely created and developed by myself and highlighted the importance of professional development even before you begin your career. It was one of my favorite projects to work on. It was educational and allowed me to develop my skills in a meaningful passionate way.
This project was designed to assess the relationship between museums and school districts in the North Country of New York. My colleague and myself interviewed, researched and developed an assessment and a plan for the future of the relationship described here. We utilized Qualtrics to analyze data and presented our findings to a panel of experts.
This business proposal reflects my ability to communicate effectively and develop business management plans as well as proposals for future developments. This project was intended to increase sales for a profitable business in the North Country of New York. The project was done entirely during Covid-19 pandemic and quarantine. My colleagues and I worked entirely remotely and were able to successfully develop a plan that increased sales and revenue within the company.
During Covid-19 pandemic and quarantine, this was another project that I was able to be a part of. Myself and six other colleagues developed a work flow analysis and developed a plan for future business implementation of informational technologies. This highlights my ability to work in a group, communicate effectively and efficiently, as well as emphasizes my flexibility in project management.
This program evaluation focused on the free food based program at Salmon River Central School District. Daniel Smithers and myself worked alongside stakeholders in the Akwesasne Community and within the school district to develop and implement an improvement to the program that was currently being used at SRCSD. Food and access to healthy food has been an ongoing crisis in low income areas and reservations are no exception. Addressing this issue allowed us to converse with local Akwesasnoron and develop a better plan to get healthy food to their students.
