'The Lock In'  Set and Prop Design

I created four props which were used in the film. I also had general set decorating responsibilities. Working on this project gave me experience with tight turnarounds on props and gave me insight into working as a part of a production. I experienced working to realise the director’s vision while communicating with other departments to determine how the props would be lit and any health and safety implications they would have. I created a darts trophy to fall and impale a fake head, a light keg replica to be a stand in for a real keg in scenes where the keg would be slammed down on a camera, a barricade which could be put together by actors and then fixed in place and a fence which was sturdy enough for an actor to climb over but have an inbuild break step.
