1/6th Scale Stop Motion Project

Final Year Stop Motion Set Project A twelve week project in which we had to make a model to a context of our choosing. I researched into stop motion sets, examining their scale, foundations and overall look to replicate. I considered how an animator might animate a puppet within the set and so I designed it to break apart at key points. This project expanded my skills with miniature scale painting techniques by allowing me to experiment with many different surfaces, creating accurate representations of sandstone brick, painted wood and asphalt.
