One of the more difficult muscles to exercise while using a cheaply-made home gym are the hamstrings. One such exercise is the Nordic hamstring curl. The equipment required for this exercise often cost hundreds of dollars, which I did not have to spare. I solved this issue by scrapping together wood from an old bedframe and other spare parts I had around my house. I then assembled these scraps into a working Nordic Bench. I was able to reduce the total cost to under $50, and learned a lot about wood joinery and hands-on manufacturing.
