Since 2008 we've been co-organizing the international seminar for students from three universities in three countries. The seminar, offered to students at STU as an extracurricular activity, deals with advanced topics regarding primarily cellular wireless networks. Over the years, interesting research topics on 3G, 4G, and later 5G and beyond, as well as IoT networking trends, advanced cloud techniques, along with practical information on the challenges of carrier-grade network deployment were brought to students by established professionals from academia and industry. Our primary partners are the Institute of Telecommunications at the Vienna University of Technology (TUW) in Austria and Center of Sensor, Information and Communication Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology (VUT) in Czech Republic. Since 2017 the Faculty of Informatics of the Pan-European University in Slovakia started to participate on this seminar, offering it's students access directly within the courses of its curriculum. The informal cooperation between three main organizers - STU, TUW and VUT has been formalized in 2020 by signing a trilateral memorandum of understanding for the future support of joint educational and research activities.
