How to Find the Food Bank
Bellevue Community Food Bank is located in the left back rear side of Bellevue United Methodist Church (7501 Old Harding Pike). Look for our banner with information and inclement weather instructions.
Required Documents for New Patrons
If you are new to our food bank, simply bring two valid forms of identification, including but not limited to:
Driver’s license
Utility bill
Passport
Immigration Papers
Student ID
When you come to our food bank for the first time, you will meet with one of our Resource Managers to complete a short intake form. All information is entered into a database that is shared with Second Harvest Food Bank. Your personal information will never be shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than general demographical statistics such as how many people are in household, zip code, age range and such. Second Harvest Food Bank uses this information to apply for grants that support area food banks.
You will receive a yellow Identification card that you will need to bring every week to receive your groceries. On the card will be your first and last name, ID number and number in your household. Only the individual’s name that appears on the ID card will receive food.

Every week, you will receive a pre-packed grocery bag (valued at $150+) filled with:
canned foods
prepared foods
essentials
fresh meat, breads, dessert, and vegetables, when available
and more!

baby items (diapers, wipes, formula)
personal hygiene products
adult care items
household cleaners
laundry detergent (3rd Tuesday of the month)

Inclement Weather Information
We will do a drive-thru in the front of Bellevue United Methodist Church when:
the temperature is above 90 degrees
the temperature is 40 degrees or below
it is raining
it is snowing

TUESDAY FOOD BANK DETAILS
We are located in the back left side of the church parking lot. Please drive around to the left of the church and enter through the back door following the signs. Help is available to carry your groceries.
You must show your ID card in order to receive your groceries.
If you are new to the food bank, please bring your driver’s license and a utility bill so our resource manager can get you registered.
If you need food before Tuesday, please call our food bank at (615) 212-9199 and leave us a message. Your call will be returned within one-hour.
