Feeding Our Neighbors
In 2024, our community food bank provided food and essentials to 11,435 individuals representing 3,725 families who are experiencing food insecurity. Ninety-eight percent of those families live in Bellevue!
So far in 2025, 485 individuals representing 154 families have visited our food bank. and received a pre-packed grocery bag filled with food and essentials including fresh meat, breads, desserts and vegetables.
As a community food bank, we can only exist through the generosity...both in-kind and financial...of individuals, neighborhoods, businesses, organizations, and places of worship.
WELCOME NEIGHBORS TO THE BELLEVUE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK
For over 34 years, Bellevue Community Food Bank has provided thousands of our neighbors residing in Bellevue, West Nashville, Fairview and Pegram with food and essential items. As a no judgement zone, our mission is to help our neighbors who are experiencing rough patches as well as food insecurity.
Our food bank is built entirely on donations from our community (individuals, businesses, communities of faith), and our partnerships with Second Harvest Food Bank, BELL Garden, Nashville Humane Association, and Cult2vate.
A few facts about recipients:
Less than 10% are unhoused (living with family members or friends)
Greater than 60% have at least one person working in the household
Approximately 20% are on medical disability
Many are intergenerational families
All are simply having difficulty making ends meet
Our food bank is open every Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 pm. We are located in the left back rear side of Bellevue United Methodist Church (7501 Old Harding Pike). Look for our banner with information and inclement weather instructions.
