The Early Steps
We help students practise single notes and simple chords: Before moving on to full songs, focus on playing individual notes and basic chords.
Using tablature or easy staff reading: Find simple songs with tablature (tab) music online, such as folk songs and bluegrass songs, to help you learn at your own pace.
We help students to develop proper technique: Paying attention to pressing strings down at the fret, especially at the end, and strumming closer to the sound 'O' hole or between the 'f' holes depending upon the mandolin model you'd like to play.
