The following links present programme notes, embedded SoundCloud mock-ups, PDFs (watermarked) for both the score and parts, and handcrafted "Play-Along" videos.
The programme notes describe both their association, admittedly often loose, with Ludwig van Beethoven's nine symphonies, as well as my own personal motivations behind each work. These compositions are some of my most personal expressions, and I hope the listener and performers can find them relatable in their own way, as if I were casually sharing my dreams or feelings to my friends and family.
The mock-ups were produced using NotePerformer AI-based synthesized renderings of my scores notated in Sibelius 7.5, then finalized in Audacity, an excellent open-source digital audio workstation.
The play-along videos were made especially for the home-based musician. Over the past month, I've produced these using Adobe Premiere Elements, a five-year-old camcorder, Acer laptop running Windows 8, and Audacity. The stereo recording provides the left speaker with a click-track while the right speaker contains the mock-up. The video contains bar-numbers, rehearsal marks, beat-counts, and other pertinent information. Posted on YouTube, the videos can allow anybody with basic recording software or technology to record and synchronize themselves.
