About my teaching experience-

My experience includes K-4 reading (pre-readers to 3rd grade level), math, and writing instruction. I have also taught functional academics, life and social skills at the middle and high school level.

I'm trained in Orton-Gillingham, Leveled Literacy Instruction, Recipe for Reading, Guided Reading, ESL strategies, and Touch Math. I also have experience with online interventions, such as Lexia, Dreambox, and Prodigy.

I have a wide range of disability experience, including Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, Autism/Aspergers, as well as cognitive disabilities, executive functioning disorders, and others.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Northern Illinois University. Go Huskies! I also have a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University. Go Spartans!
