Welcome to my creative home page, dedicated to the things I love outside of my day job in technology.
Although I spend much of my working life solving technical problems, I've always been someone with a wide range of interests and a strong creative streak. Music, dance and performance have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I firmly believe that creativity and curiosity are just as important in technology as they are on the stage.
Over the years I've studied, trained, and competed in a wide variety of disciplines (and languages, and countries!). Much like my adventures in technology, a lot of my progress has been self-directed - I always want to be learning, developing, and improving. Testing boundaries, finding better ways to do things, and surprising myself with what I'm capable of. I really enjoy learning new things, whether that's mastering choreography, improving my singing technique, studying cybersecurity, or teaching myself an entirely new skill just because it seemed interesting.
For me, creativity isn't separate from my professional life; it's part of the same mindset. Both technology and the arts involve experimentation, problem-solving, discipline, a willingness to take risks, and a drive to keep learning and improving.
