Through much fasting and prayer, God commissioned her to encourage the people of God through the Word of God. That man will walk in the newness of God and see themselves as God sees them, and value themselves as God placed value on their lives.

There was a time of preparation, at the age of 16 (1975) she received the gift of the Holy Spirit while a member of Little Zion Church of God In The Christ, under the Pastor-ship of the late Elder Sylvester Berry, Revivalist Evangelist Keith Johnson, she later joined the House of God Which The Church of The Living God, The Pillar and Ground of The Truth, where she answered the call of God for Ministry in October 1999, she was called to be an Exhorter in the ministry. After one year, in November 2000, in the State Assembly in Pompano Beach, FL under Bishop J. C. Elliott, State Chief Overseer, she was reclassified as Reverend.

She studied under several Theological Institutions, Bible Teachers International, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, World Christian Seminary, CA, Olympia College, Bremerton, WA and secular Institutions as well.

God birthed forth through her, Be Encouraged In The Word Ministries, Inc in 2004, comprising of her and her children, her niece and her family. And in 2005, Be Encouraged in the Word Christian Bible College, was formed.
