Code of Ethics

As a member & Student…

While the scripture tells us to come as you are, we are in agreement with scriptures, however; our prayer is that you do not stay as you are. Through the scriptures and other Christian material, books, prayers of the righteous which avail much, will cause a change to occur. This change must first take place in the mind, then in the heart, and a confession with your mouth. In your day to day life you must exemplify the behavior of Jesus. We must make a conscience decision to ask ourselves what would Jesus do.

Ministry is about being in covenant with God and each other to accomplish His will and purpose. He calls ministers to lead.

True ministers of God are called to Service, not just to teach and preach but to walk with all in love and to be an example. Each prospective minister must understand the following Code of Ethics and Qualifications for licensing and ordination under Be Encouraged In The Word Christian Bible College.

1. Must be spiritually mature and walk in Christian character as evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit as given in Galatians 5:22-23 and by the qualities required for Christian leaders in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
2. Must have gifts of leadership (Ephesians 4:11-14).
3. Must have a servant spirit which enables them to submit to the authority of God (John 12:1-17, I Corinthians 4:1-2, Philippians 2:11).

Minister Qualifications:

1. You must know that you were called of God.
2. You must know you are led by God and led to be in or attend Be Encouraged In the Word Christian Bible College
3. You must have the ability to lead by example and desire to minister to the needs of others.
4. You must understand the needs of the people or community you are called to serve and be dedicated to helping those with needs, mind, body, soul and spirit, while communicating those needs to the ecclesiastical body of the Ministry.
5. You must possess the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
6. You must work to edify the body and bring the body together in love and fellowship.
7. You must show respect for the Pastor as well as for all members.
8. You must accept the five fold gift ministry and be willing to work in harmony within the ministries of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers, which God has set in order to provide balance to the body.
