The national board will be composed of a group of directors, each from a different university. The purpose of the national board is to provide support and oversight for the chapters. The board will also act to expand and further the larger aims of the BDA. Each director will have the opportunity to create their own team and further develop the structure of their department. Every director will found a chapter at their respective institution during the fall of 2020. Directors will act as the presidents of these chapters only as long is it takes to train a successor.

The Director of Training and Education will be responsible for the initial and continual education of chapter members. The BDA is only as good as its Ambassadors and there is a great deal of skill and knowledge required to be a great Ambassador.

The Director of Engagement and Relations will be responsible for fostering communication and relationships within and outside the BDA. He or she will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Branding. These two positions have been separated so as to distribute work more evenly.

The Director of Digital Infrastructure and Analytics will focus on building and improving the technical capabilities of the BDA. He or she will also play a vital role in structuring data collection parameters.

The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial affairs of the BDA from tracking of cash flow to financial planning. Mismanagement of funds is a recipe for disaster in any organization.

The role of the Director of Legal Affairs is to oversee all legal operations affecting the BDA. His or her ultimate goal is to ensure all actions and policies of the BDA are in line with the law.

The Director of Marketing and Branding will cultivate and maintain the brand identity of the BDA. The BDA is a group of young, passionate and capable students and our image needs to convey us as such. He or she will work closely with the Director of Engagement and Relations.
