RCABC Basic Lakewater Instructor course and Paddle Canada Intro Tandem and Solo Instructor course April 22nd (Evening on Zoom) and April 25th and 26th- Coquitlam - Buntzen Lake $300 plus GST.
This course, is for teachers and people working with youth, who are experienced paddlers, and wish to receive Canoe Instructor certifications and be able to certify their students. It will cover the competencies and content for the new RCABC Lakewater Instructor Level 1 course. This course certifies successful candidates to teach RCABC Lakewater Level 1 and 2. It will also include the Paddle Canada Intro Tandem and Solo Instructor course which allows successful candidates to teach PC's Intro, Canoeing Basics and Waterfront Skills. Candidates should be strong paddlers and have experience paddling both Tandem and Solo. The course fee does not include the membership fee for either organization which must be paid prior to the course.

Camping Instructor / Tripping Leader
Recreational Canoeing Association of BC Tripping Leader /Paddle Canada Camping Instructor Course. - Great for teachers, Canoeing guides, Outdoor program leaders, Canoe club trip leaders. Youth camp or youth organization staff who wish to be capable of teaching the skills and knowledge required for weekend canoeing trips. Upon successful completion can teach Paddle Canada's Basic Camping Instructor courses. Prerequisites for Instructors: Minimum 16-hour First Aid (can be wilderness) plus CPR Certificate ,Leave No Trace training, Minimum of Paddle Canada Intermediate Lake Tandem skill certification or equivalencies, Significant Canoe Tripping experience in a wide variety of conditions and locations, Minimum 4 multi-day canoe trips, Prior Paddle Canada or RCABC training (eg.
