This event is supported by partners dedicated to promoting scientific excellence and knowledge exchange. Thanks to their funding, we are able to offer diverse sessions, invite expert speakers, and support early-career researchers.
BelTox brings together scientists working on toxicology and ecotoxicology to share knowledge, collaborate and advance chemical safety. Established in 1989, BelTox aims to promote cutting-edge scientific exchange, support young researchers, and improve risk- and hazard-assessment practices for chemicals affecting human health and the environment.
Trans-Pest is a cross-border research project. It brings together universities and research institutes from France, Belgium and Flanders, working to test how climate change affects crop pests (e.g. aphids or wireworms) and their natural enemies (e.g. ladybugs, lacewings), and to propose biological-control strategies that reduce reliance on synthetic pesticides.
The University of Mons is a leading Belgian institution recognized for its strong commitment to research, innovation, and interdisciplinary education. With internationally active research teams and state-of-the-art facilities, UMONS contributes to scientific excellence in fields ranging from environmental sciences and biology to engineering and materials science.
