Abstract submission for BCE 2026

We are pleased to announce that abstract submission is now open!

The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to July 2, 2026.

To submit your abstract(s), please use the following form: Abstract submission is now closed.

We welcome contributions in the form of poster or oral presentations.

Submissions are encouraged across all biological models and all types of chemicals, covering a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, experimental results, methodological designs, conceptual approaches and other relevant topics.

Authors are invited to submit a concise abstract including:

• Title of the contribution.

• Author(s) name(s).

• Affiliation(s).

• A main section of maximum 300 words (Background/objectives, methods, results, conclusions).

The abstract should clearly summarize the work and its main findings. The use of the above sections is recommended where appropriate.

Please note that :

• Each participant may present only one poster and/or one oral presentation. If you wish to propose both a poster and an oral presentation, please include both abstracts within the same form and within the same PDF.

• Each participant may apply for the best poster and/or best oral presentation awards (separate prizes for Master's and PhD students). These awards are generously funded by the Belgian Society of Toxicology and Ecotoxicology (BelTox).
