As you raised up Will Kellogg and the cereal industry to change the economic condition of our city, so raise up a new spirit of entrepreneurship across our area to bring new, inventive businesses that will create economic prosperity in our city. We have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16), and Your mind created all things. We ask for Your creativity to bring new innovations, jobs, and wealth to Battle Creek. Raise up Your believers to take positions of leadership, management, and ownership of businesses in our city. May each business be run with diligence and integrity, and as Will Kellogg demonstrated, with care for employees and customers.
Prov. 21:5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.
Lev. 19:36 Use honest scales and honest weights, an honest [measure]. I am the LORD your God…

Lord, as you raised up people like Harriet Tubman and Erastus and Sarah Hussey to free people and aide them in escaping oppression and slavery, raise up your present freedom fighters to expose injustice and oppression bringing our citizens to freedom in Christ. Give boldness to your people to stand for righteousness and justice in our city. In Your Name, Jesus, we bind hatred and racism in Battle Creek and surrounding areas, and in Your Name, we loose Your love and unity among our citizens knowing that You, Our Creator, made us one blood and one race. We ask all this in the Name of Jesus, the great barrier-breaker and bridge-builder.
2 Cor 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Isa. 58:6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?”
Psa. 133:1 Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity
