Since its founding in 1986, the Bukit Batok Secondary School National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) unit continues to shape young leaders, welcoming its 36th batch of cadets in 2025. NPCC is a dynamic and enriching co-curricular activity where cadets develop a strong sense of patriotism, actively contribute to the community, and grow into capable leaders. The unit's holistic training program prioritises character building and leadership development, evidenced by its consistent achievement of Distinction in the Unit Overall Proficiency Award for five consecutive years (2019-2024).
Vision: To provide quality experience for every cadet
Mission: To nurture self-directed cadets with abundance mentality
To achieve this, the unit exposes cadets to a myriad of activities ranging from police knowledge courses, weaponry training, to leadership development experiences. Our cadets also undergo rigorous training during their four-year stint, which includes physical fitness, footdrills, campcraft skills, adventure camps and various shooting competitions.
In order to inspire the cadets in their individual quests for excellence, their achievements are acknowledged through the award of skill proficiency badges and rank promotions.
We, the members of the National Police Cadet Corps, do here and now solemnly and sincerely pledge that:
We will always bear true faith and allegiance to the President and our Republic of Singapore;
We will always be loyal and true to our country, our people and the government; We will always be prepared to serve our country and the community;
We will always preserve the peace and uphold the law.
