REENTRY CENTER
Who We Are
The Bayboro Development Center (BDC) is a 501c3 nonprofit with a proven history of engagement in re-entry transition support for inmates and low to moderate income families in Pamlico County. We are also exploring transitional housing for inmates returning to the community.
Once an individual reenters society, their likelihood of becoming a contributing member of their community is dependent on whether they can secure meaningful employment, find a place to live, and have the education and skills necessary to advance in life. A successful transition program is one which helps individuals overcome one or more of these barriers and collaborates with other community resources to supplement its own program with other services.
