How do I access the internet while on campus?
We have [eduroam] so you can log into it with your edu account and this will provide you with uninterrupted internet access. There is also a network called [Stanford Visitor]. This network will provide access to the internet at a lower speed for restricted amount of time.
Is the venue easily accessible for people with reduced mobility?
There are accessible parking spaces near the building. The auditorium is easily accessible and situated on the ground floor with ramps leading to the building and the auditorium. Feel free to contact us so that we can accomodate any specific need.
Is there access to restrooms and lactation rooms?
Male, female, all gender, and accessible restrooms can be found on the same floor as the presentations. Unfortunately the building does not have a dedicated lactation space/room, but the Gilbert Biology building next door at 371 Jane Stanford does. If you would like access to the lactation room, please contact us so that we can provide you with details and access codes.
Is parking free?
Stanford parking is free on weekends and after 4:00pm on weekdays!
If needed, are there first aid resources?
The building is equipped with first aid kits as well as an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). All are easily accessible.
Where will the poster session be held?
Posters presentation will occur behind the Sapp building outside in full sun. Dress accordingly!
