Welcome to the Bluewater Area Woodturners Club! We provide education about woodturning to our members and to people interested in taking up this wonderful hobby. If you are a woodturner or are interested in becoming one, we invite you to join our community. It’s a great way to get started as a woodturner and make new friends in the process.

If you are new to woodturning – don’t worry! Club Members can get you started with advice on such things as:
Buying a lathe (size, features, manufacturers, etc.)
Tools to buy (or not buy) and how to use them
Finding and preparing wood for projects
Sanding and finishing
There is always something new to learn. Experienced woodturners benefit by seeing what other club members make and the techniques they use.
Being a member gives you access to the club’s library of 130+ resources.
The Bluewater Area Woodturners Club is affiliated with the American Association of Woodturners, an international organization of woodturners.
