The BAW are proud of their work in the community!
Club members turn and donate bowls to the St. Clair County Mid City Nutrition’s Empty Bowls fundraiser.
We turn and donate pens to the club’s “Pens for Troops” project. The pens are given to active service men and women as a token of our appreciation for their service.
Members turn and donate items to the Port Huron Museum. The wood used for these items is well over 100 years old and comes from the restoration of the historic Fort Gratiot Post Hospital. Items are sold in the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse Park gift shop. Proceeds are used for museum restoration and maintenance.
To increase public awareness of woodturning, Club Members staff a demonstration booth at the Armada Fair and the Goodells Harvest Festival.
