Reader’s services – Answer patron inquiries in any medium either face-to-face, email, phone calls, etc. help users access and enjoy books and other resources, focus on convenience, digital access, and personalized support.
Virtual reference service - Library staff assist library clients on their research virtually through the following channels: ASK ROSA. official Facebook page
Research assistance service – Conduct library instruction and orientation and provide reliable sources for research and further studies of its patrons.
Reference and Information Services - BPL has Library Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) where the clients can search their research and they can be directed on the location of the materials / books within the library.
Circulation services - Library staff will assist library patrons with the location & circulation of library materials. Patrons will be issued a library card the first time they visited the library for free, and will be used every time they avail of the library services. The BPL practices open shelve system where library Patrons freely browse books and bounded and not bounded serials / periodicals available at the library. The library has available books on Computer Science Information & general Works; Philosophy & Psychology; Religion; Social Sciences; Language; Science and Technology; Arts & Recreation; Literature; History and geography. Likewise, the library holds bounded serials, journals, magazines with various subjects.
Digital and online Services – Offers Access to various government websites and applications for conducting online transactions and booking appointments. Give assistance in securing online appointments with different government agencies ahead of physical visits, helping to minimize queues and reduce processing uncertainty. Provide computers and internet services for web browsing, academic or professional research, and accessing online databases and websites.
Children’s section services - The library designs and conduct engaging activities for young library patrons, including storytelling sessions, art tutorials, “Read Along the Riles,” and “Reading for Healing” programs. Library also accept invitation and request for the conduct of storytelling sessions from Municipal Libraries, DepEd Schools and Barangay daycare centers.
Wi-Fi and Internet service - The library sustains free Internet and Wi-Fi connectivity within the library premises for patron-use. Library offers the use of 15 computer units for online research.
Document delivery services - Deliver requested scanned documents to its patrons through any format through different channels: Library e-mail account (library@batangas.gov.ph , batprolib@gmail.com) ; Facebook page (Batangas Provincial Library) ; and ASK ROSA
